# Claude Code

Connecting Claude Code to Poly over MCP.

## Status

In progress. Poly's MCP surfaces are being opened to external assistants;
when the connection lands, this page carries the step-by-step setup —
server URL, token, and the entry for Claude Code's MCP config.

## What it will unlock

The vault: Claude Code will be able to list and read the secrets you
expose, governed by the same activity log and leases as every other
consumer — see [Secrets & MCP](/docs/secrets-mcp-integration).

## Meanwhile

Claude Code speaks MCP generally today: any standard server can be added
to its config in the usual way — see
[Configuration](/docs/mcp-configuration) for the shape of an entry.
