Introducing Poly 2.0 — A Unified AI Workspace

After months of intensive building, we're thrilled to announce Poly 2.0 — a complete reimagining of what an AI workspace can be. The Universal Canvas

At the heart of 2.0 is the Universal Canvas — an infinite workspace where you can arrange chat streams, research panels, code editors, documents, and more in a spatial layout that mirrors your thinking. The canvas is built around FrameNodes — windows that host live content from every section of the platform. A FrameNode can contain a chat conversation, a research stream, a spreadsheet, a kanban board, or an embedded web app. They resize, snap to a grid, and connect to each other with visual edges that represent data flow.

FlowEngine

The FlowEngine is our new orchestration layer — a DAG-based execution system that lets you define multi-step AI workflows and run them with thermal throttling, automatic retry, and full observability. Ship a research report, audit a codebase, or generate a financial forecast with a single command. Fifty-nine pre-built templates get you started in seconds.

Universal File Mesh

Under the hood, we've rebuilt the storage layer from scratch. The Universal File Mesh gives every file a poly:// URI — whether it lives in chat, research, office, or studio. Cross-section queries, bidirectional sync, and a unified link graph mean your data is finally treated as a first-class citizen.
